"Matt was a definite win taking the 105-106 modules with. He has a sound teaching background that brings a level of confidence and that spills into your knowledge making you a better Captain and knowledgable sailor. He led our group through some technical spots adding the thrill of achieving something that many would not risk without that skill from him. His knowledge of the water around Vancouver island is exceptional and he took us to spots that would remain a memory for a lifetime and make you want to see it again. His calm demeanour through a deep knowledge base made it easy to learn and challenging enough to make it fun. The evenings were great with cooking meals together or going ashore to local haunts where life on the water explained first hand. Thanks Matt great experience. We will be back in March to expand further with another module."

"Drew packed a lot of knowledge and experience into the training. He has a hands on approach that allows you to learn and do in a safe atmosphere. This is no nonsense training backed with logical and easy to learn techniques. The confidence builds daily and the life aboard the boat exposes you to real sailing but allows you to enjoy the scenery while you learn. The nights were great as we went to places only a seasoned Captain in the area would know to show you. Thanks Drew."

"Our sailing group has successfully completed ASA 101, 103, 104, and 105 with Saltline Sailing and we are booked for 106. We have had the pleasure of studying and working with both Matt and Drew along the way. Both instructors not only have a wealth of knowledge and experience under their belts, but more importantly, they have a superb ability to present and teach the course content in a very understandable and relatable way. If you have ever considered pursuing your ASA sailing certification, I definitely recommend Saltline. Whether you intend to study in British Columbia, BVI, St. Martin, or elsewhere, Saltline has you covered from bow to stern!"

"Our captain was extremely competent and did a great job developing my skills and knowledge. He also included some incredible snorkeling experiences and anchoring near beaches that most people will never see in the Sea of Cortez."
